Responsibilities

Role: Autonomous Kitchen Robotics Engineer

Location: Hybrid Onsite – SFO CA

Duration: Long term

Responsibilities:

  • You will be working at the intersection of robotics, vision AI, and physical intelligence to help build and scale our autonomous kitchen systems.
  • Our immediate organizational priority is to get our classical robotics-based kitchen fully operational by the end of June/July and roll it out for other customer deployments in India and US. This is critical for business continuity and growth, so your primary responsibility in the near term will be focused on execution and delivery around this milestone.

Core Areas of Work

  • Robotics (Primary Focus)
  • All of our activities revolve around robotics, so this will be your main area of responsibility. This includes:
  • Classical robotics system development for our current kitchen automation product
  • Motion planning, controls, integration, and system reliability
  • Robot deployment, testing, and operational optimization
  • Commissioning and scaling of robotic systems in production environments
  • As we evolve, this will increasingly overlap with AI-driven robotics and physical intelligence systems.

Vision AI / VLA

  • You will also contribute to our longer-term intelligence stack, including:
  • Anomaly detection and mitigation
  • Ingredient classification and recognition
  • Vision-language-action (VLA) systems for autonomous kitchen operations
  • Bridging classical robotics with physical intelligence-driven robotic systems

Embedded Systems

  • You may also work on embedded systems depending on project requirements and opportunities, including hardware interfacing and low-level system integration.

What We are Looking For

  • We are looking for someone who is highly execution-oriented, comfortable working across disciplines, and excited by building real-world autonomous robotic systems from the ground up.
  • This role requires someone who can operate both in immediate product execution and in long-term system innovation.
