Job Description:

  • Design, plan, and implement Azure infrastructure solutions that meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Architect hybrid and multi-cloud environments integrating on-prem systems with Azure services.
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting of legacy applications to Azure.
  • Define Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep, enabling automated provisioning and management.
  • Architect Azure networking components — VNets, Subnets, NSGs, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, Application Gateway, Load Balancers, and Firewalls.
  • Implement identity and access management using Azure Active Directory (AAD), Conditional Access, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Design and manage Azure Storage, Azure SQL, App Services, AKS (Kubernetes), Virtual Machines, and Logic Apps.
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement Azure Security Center, Defender, and governance via Azure Policy and Blueprints.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to infrastructure and DevOps teams.
  • Establish disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity strategies across all critical workloads.
  • Ensure compliance with ITSM/ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency, leveraging tools like Azure Cost Management and Advisor.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, documentation, and solution presentations with stakeholders and customers.

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in IT infrastructure and at least 5 years in Azure Cloud Architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS services, VMs, Networking, Storage, AKS, App Gateway, Key Vault, and Backup/Recovery.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD automation tools.
  • Expertise in Terraform, ARM/Bicep templates, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, and Hybrid Identity (AD Connect).
  • Solid understanding of security principles, cloud governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, or other cloud databases.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes (AKS) and containerization best practices.
  • Familiarity with ITSM processes and tools like ServiceNow.
