Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain microservices-based applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with developers to containerize applications and optimize performance.
- Manage service discovery, API gateway configurations, and inter-service communication.
- Ensure scalability, fault tolerance, and observability across distributed systems.
- Work on microservices orchestration, autoscaling, and load balancing strategies.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent environment management.
- Develop automation for deployment, testing, and monitoring of microservices.
🔹 Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Deploy and manage workloads on AWS, Azure, or GCP (EKS, ECS, AKS, GKE).
- Use AWS services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.
- Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of cloud-based microservices deployments.
- Manage hybrid or multi-cloud architectures where applicable.
🔹 Monitoring & Logging
- Implement observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK Stack, Dynatrace, or DataDog.
- Define metrics, logging, and tracing standards for distributed applications.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across CI/CD pipelines and runtime environments.
🔹 Security & Compliance
- Implement security best practices in CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments.
- Manage secrets, keys, and certificates using tools like AWS KMS, HashiCorp Vault, or Azure Key Vault.
- Ensure compliance with DevSecOps principles — integrating vulnerability scans and policy checks in pipelines.
